A Different Season is the debut album released by the Shee in 2008 and resulted in the band being nominated for a Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and a newcomer award at the MG Alba Scots Trad Awards. The album contains a blend of traditional and contemporary material sourced from Scottish, Gaelic, English, Scandinavian and American traditions, reflecting the band members' diverse musical backgrounds.
